CCEI Offers Classroom Management Strategies in Online Training Course
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- ChildCare Education Institute® (CCEI), a distance learning professional development and certificate provider, offers GUI101: Classroom Management as an online no-cost trial child care training course to new CCEI users during the month of January in recognition of National Get Organized Month.
The goal of this course is to provide teachers with systems and strategies to manage the classroom effectively, and optimize student learning. This course provides a range of strategies and practices for promoting appropriate behavior, positive social and emotional development, and a productive, effective learning environment. Strategies are designed mainly for grades preK-3 (ages 4 to 8) but most strategies are appropriate for work with any age group, grades preK-12. Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to identify aspects of effective praise and encouragement, define mutual interaction, and demonstrate an understanding of positive guidance strategies for promoting appropriate behavior.
“Behavior management can be a very challenging task for early child care providers,” says Maria C. Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI. “This course provides key strategies and routines to help build a productive classroom, while also offering important guidelines to dealing with challenging behavior.”
This intermediate-level training course is available as a trial course to new users with CCEI account creation in January. Current CCEI users with active, unlimited annual subscriptions can enroll in professional development courses at no additional cost when logged in to their CCEI account. Users without subscriptions can purchase child care training courses as block hours through CCEI online enrollment.
