CCEI Says "Thank You" with No-Cost Online Training Course for All
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) November 26, 2014 -- ChildCare Education Institute® (CCEI), a distance learning professional development and certificate provider, offers online child care training course CCEI550: Cool Cooking at No Cost to new and returning users November 26 – December 1, 2014, in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The holidays are a time for giving thanks for all that we have and focusing on love for family and friends. Enjoying delicious meals and cooking together is a great way to get in the Thanksgiving spirit!
CCEI550: Cool cooking explores cooking as a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom activity. Young chefs do not need sharp knives or hot pans to enjoy all the benefits of cooking in the early childhood curriculum, including nutrition and health knowledge and wide range of early science and self-help skills. Cooking develops sensory skills, as well as a sense of autonomy and confidence. Upon successful completion of the course, participants should be able to describe objectives for cooking activities and identify appropriate methods for integrating cooking activities in the preschool classroom.
"Cooking is a fun and interactive activity that can promote skills across all developmental domains," says Maria C. Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI. "CCEI offers this no-cost clock-hour for the industry to learn safe and appropriate cooking activities, as well as to thank those who work in the early care industry for their roles in educating our children.”
