CEAgent announces new complimentary offering for Nursing Associations
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 22, 2015 -- CEAgent and association management company CMI today announced the availability of the no cost CEAgent app built specifically for healthcare associations. CEAgent provides healthcare workers the ability to manage and track their licenses, certifications, clearances and continuing education in an easy to use mobile and web based application. CEAgent has alerts and reminders built in, to notify users when vital documents are becoming due for renewal.
The first generation version of CEAgent is optimized for nurses but can be used by other healthcare workers as well. Case managers and Hispanic nurses account for over 150,000 healthcare professionals.
The Association version of CEAgent allows professional associations to interact with their members allowing push notifications through the application. Association staff will also have access to various data analytics with the ability to better plan offerings to members and help build engagement.
The first two associations to benefit from CEAgent are the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), which represents 30,000 case management members and participants, as well as the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) which represents over 9,000 nursing members and participants. Both groups are managed by CMI, an association management company focused on growing healthcare associations and coalitions.
The agreement between CMI and CEAgent will allow CMI to offer an enhanced version of the CEAgent app to any client association.
Michael Hoehn, President of CMI says, “Providing resources to professionals is critical to our clients as they seek to continue to add value to their members in an increasingly digital world. The CEAgent app will allow CMSA and NAHN members to centralize all their continuing education information in one online resource area allowing them to better track and store their education data. This creates value for CMSA and NAHN members which is the ultimate goal of any professional association.”
