Celebrating 21 Years of Serving Pensacola
Pensacola, Florida (PRWEB) June 18, 2015 -- Doctors Christian and Robin Harfouche, Miracle Faith Apostolic Global Church, and the world-wide International Miracle Institute, celebrate 21 years of serving the city of Pensacola this Father’s Day. This internationally recognized Church and Bible School has been enriching the community since 1994, through massive philanthropic outreaches, large scale events, as well as through the impacting of young people and the improvement of family.
In 2,000, the Church organized an outreach that would make history. 53,000 people gathered for R.E.A.C.H. Pensacola to receive goods and food for the holidays. Philip Knight, co-founder and chairman of Nike, partnered with the church’s humanitarian branch, R.E.A.C.H., to donate 35,000 pairs of new Nike tennis shoes to people in the community. 500 new bikes were also distributed; turkeys, canned food, diapers, baby needs, as well as a brand new car donated by Ted Ciano.
The following year the outreach continued with R.E.A.C.H. The Children. Pensacola’s Civic Center was filled twice during that celebration as more than 1 million dollars worth of toys were distributed to 8,000 children during the holiday season.
The International Miracle Institute, founded by Doctors Christian and Robin Harfouche, has expanded to include students in every nation on the planet. The 2014 Graduation alone celebrated with 200,017 students from 222 nations and territories. This annual event, held in August, draws people from all over the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, as well as many other nations of the world. Last year's graduation, packed to capacity, was made up of ministers, pastors, and believers that had traveled from as far as Canada, Ghana, Liberia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Puerto Rico, as well as every state in America. International Miracle Institute strengthens both flourishing and unstable regions of the world, and trains pastors, bishops, teachers, church leaders, and Christians alike, to be the representatives of Christ that the world needs.
Internationally known Doctors Christian and Robin Harfouche, prior to making Pensacola their world-wide headquarters, had already traveled to 50 nations of the world. It was estimated as early as 1990 that they had ministered to over 1 million people.
