Celebrating the Skincare Professional: October 15th is National Aesthetician Day

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 28, 2017 -- The professional skincare brand COSMEDIX serves as the founding sponsor of National Aesthetician Day and calls the skincare community to help recognize aestheticians around the country for their dedication and support. A month-long program, dubbed National Aesthetician Month, officially kicks off October 1, 2017.

Throughout the month, COSMEDIX will invite their network of professionals and spa accounts, media, influencers and consumers to join in and share their appreciation for the men and women who work tirelessly to help achieve skin wellness.

COSMEDIX’s National Aesthetician Month will include the following initiatives:

  • COSMEDIX will host key activations and events at the Skin Inc. Southeast Face & Body Show held in the brand’s hometown of Atlanta October 7-9, 2017.
  • COSMEDIX will host an experiential weekend at their corporate headquarters where qualifying aestheticians will win a trip to the brand’s hometown of Atlanta. Winners will get to meet the COSMEDIX CEO, will be featured in an educational video, create a live social video and work with the product development team on new formulations.
  • COSMEDIX will launch new and innovative products exclusively available to the professional along with a host of exciting retail offerings such as Humidify Deep Moisture Cream.
  • On October 15th, a social contest will go live on a dedicated COSMEDIX page to further engage with their audience by asking consumers and fans to nominate their personal favorite aesthetician.
  • Throughout the month of October, for every COSMEDIX product sold, the brand will contribute a corresponding donation to the organization Bright Pink to support the prevention and detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.

COSMEDIX encourages all skincare professionals and spas to participate in the celebration.
