Celebrity Chefs & Wine Tasting to Stir Up Funds for At-Risk Children Served by Children’s Bureau
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- Tickets are on sale for Children’s Bureau’s 4th Annual Celebrity Chefs & Wine Tasting to be held on Thursday, October 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the historic AT&T Center – Penthouse in downtown Los Angeles. Over 300 guests are expected to attend the evening that will include exceptional cuisine by America’s top chefs, California’s best wines and exclusive auction offerings. The event is expected to raise $300,000 for Children’s Bureau’s child abuse prevention programs. Celebrity chefs on hand include Roy Choi (Kogi Truck, A-Frame), Susan Feniger (Border Grill, STREET), Sharlena Fong (Semisweet Bakery), Karen Hatfield (Hatfield’s, The Sycamore Kitchen), Suzanne Goin (Lucques, The Larder, a.o.c., The Hungry Cat), Loretta Keller (COCO500), Daniel Mattern (Cook’s County), Mary Sue Milliken (Border Grill), Joachim Splichal (Patina Restaurant Group) and Michael Voltaggio (ink.).
Participating wineries include Chateau Ste. Michelle, Foxen Winery & Vineyard, Golden State Wine Co., Ramey Wine Cellars, Rocca Family Vineyards, Talisman Wines, Terlato Wines International, Vins Rare and Walter Hansel Winery & Vineyard.
