Celestix Appoints Gabriele Sartori as New Chief Technology Officer
Fremont, California (PRWEB) February 20, 2014 -- Celestix Networks, a global provider of network security and two-factor authentication solutions, today announced the appointment of Gabriele Sartori to the role of chief technology officer. Sartori brings more than 30 years of technology and hardware development experience to the position. This appointment is effective immediately and Sartori will be responsible for the company’s technology strategy, product research and development.
Sartori most recently served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for NComputing and had been with the company since 2007. At NComputing, he was responsible for several computer architecture and remote desktop patents, and led the development team for the Numo family of SOCs and the development of vSpace 7.x desktop virtualization SW.

Prior to NComputing, Sartori held executive positions at Spansion, Luxtera, and Advanced Micro Devices. At AMD, he was the driving force behind HyperTransport, the revolutionary bus used by the Opteron CPUs. Sartori also ran R&D for Desktop PC and Workstations at Olivetti, Italy. Sartori has been awarded over 10 patents and has a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical Institute of Biella, Italy.
