La Jolla, CA (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Center for Discovery, a national leader in eating disorder treatment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Brown, LMFT, to the position of Program Director of Center for Discovery La Jolla, San Diego California facility.
Mr. Brown is an expert in the field and has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders in a private practice setting and most recently was the Clinical Director at a regional eating disorder organization. In his current position, Mr. Brown is responsible for leading the La Jolla staff to achieve the unparalleled outcomes that have become the distinctive quality of Discovery’s programs.
Mr. Brown stated, “Not only is the La Jolla program in one of the most picturesque locations on the west coast, the team of people I am working with is the best in the field. The treatment experience we will provide children and teens will be remarkable.”
Mr. Brown earned his Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in the treatment of Addictive Disorders at Alliant International University, Scripps Ranch.
