Central Logic Hosts Patient Throughput Event for Hospital Leaders
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Central Logic is hosting a complimentary healthcare event next month designed to give hospital leaders the opportunity to share experiences and insights on optimizing processes, increasing patient flow, and improving the quality of patient care. Hospital administrators focused on improving operational efficiency in their health systems are invited to attend this one-day event on Thursday February 19 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
Healthcare experts and hospital leaders will share insights and experiences. Leslee Gross, Assistant VP Operations, and Julieta Ducasa, Transfer Center Manager, from Baptist Health South Florida, will walk through Baptist Health South Florida’s successful initiative to transform its transfer center to a full healthcare communications center.
Dr. Darin Vercillo, Chief Medical Officer at Central Logic, will talk about population health management. Patient flow consultant, Mike Harrington, will describe how to mitigate the impact of variation, constraints, and waste through processes and technology and how to overcome barriers to effective patient throughput. And Central Logic VP of Consulting and Education, Scott Jordan, will discuss the transfer center’s unique position for enhancing patient flow before, during, and after the hospital stay.
“We are happy to host this event in Orlando,” said Tom Bova, Central Logic’s Southeast Regional Director. “Not only will attendees have the opportunity to hear from multiple experts, they will also have the opportunity to network with peers from other hospitals who are facing similar challenges.”
