Hosted by U.S. CAD, a BIM consultant and Autodesk Platinum Partner, the event had more than 120 attendees from over 50 companies joining industry-leading speakers and experts on August 6th and 7th for 38 different sessions covering BIM, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Construction, and more.
“The BIM Workshops was first started in Omaha, NE and we’re always happy to bring this training and networking event back to this enthusiastic group of users,” states Carla Edwards, Senior Technical Specialist for U.S. CAD, and part of the management team behind the BIM Workshops. “For many users, the BIM Workshops is a cost-effective way of gaining high-level training with nationally-recognized speakers, which provides them an opportunity to learn how to be more productive in the software they use most and bring that learning back to their organization.”

About the BIM Workshops
The BIM Workshops events started with the Central States Revit Workshop in 2012. The continued success of the Central States Revit Workshop along with the technical community’s positive feedback prompted a multi-event expansion and a re-branding to the name BIM Workshops. The Workshops were created originally to connect local users with national, regional, and local industry speakers and leaders. For many users, the Workshops continue to be the most cost-effective opportunity to get training in Autodesk software and to learn from and network with their industry leaders and peers.
