Centura College Opens its Doors to Community Job Seekers with September Career Fair
Columbia, SC (PRWEB) August 29, 2016 -- Centura College will be holding a community career fair on Thursday, September 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in business attire with resumes in hand.
“The job search process can be frustrating. With so many companies moving to online application systems, it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle. Our career fair presents local job seekers the opportunity to speak directly to employers and make that all-important first impression. That is what we’re all about at Centura College—connecting communities and careers,” said Campus Executive Director Dale Weiberg.
Featured employers include: ABM Government Services, Averitt Express, FedEx Express, Retire Ease Senior Services, Training Concepts, South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, UPS, and more.
Other activities will include campus tours and meet and greets with admissions representatives and financial aid officers.
Centura College’s Columbia campus is located at 131 Berkshire Drive. For more information about the career fair, call the campus at 803-754-7544.
