CEO at aeSolutions Receives the ISA Excellence in Leadership Award
Greenville, South Carolina, USA (PRWEB) October 23, 2016 -- aeSolutions is pleased to share that their CEO, Kathy Shell, P.E., received the Excellence in Leadership Award at ISA’s Annual Gala held on September 24, 2016 at the Newport Beach Hotel & Spa, Newport Beach, California.
Shell received the award for significantly impacting the United States’ ability to secure its critical infrastructure through Cyber Shield 2016 and for leading and advancing the vision to enhance Industrial Control System (ICS) Cybersecurity awareness, education, and training. The Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the industry and/or profession to advance automation.

In addition to developing the cybersecurity training materials, the aeSolutions’ industrial cybersecurity team created exercises to take students from a variety of backgrounds and introduce them to technology such as passive and active vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, network monitoring, industrial firewalls, white listing, secure remote access, PLC configuration management, and system hardening.
