CEO makes spirituality accessible
Carmel, Calif. (PRWEB) February 10, 2016 -- Therapists’ couches are frequently filled by individuals gripped with fear that they may never be enough. People struggle daily with the sense of feeling unfilled or lacking, no matter how much they accomplish or obtain. As Roger Fiola shows in his new book, “Traveler’s Tale – First Book: Discoverings,” finding fulfillment may be as simple as discovering spirituality.
The first part to an innovative and suspenseful series, “Traveler’s Tale – First Book: Discoverings” details the faith journey of Jack Castro, a seemingly successful, yet spiritually lacking modern-day man. While grappling with a lack of fulfillment, Jack mysteriously finds himself in first-century Ephesus where he encounters a variety of Biblical characters.
“The story is a retelling of the gospel in a way, but the path leads readers on a unique vantage point through this contemporary man. Rather than preach to readers, I try to move them through the journey alongside Jack so they can come to understanding spirituality on their own,” Fiola said.
While it is a work of fiction, the book is based on heavily researched biblical events and individuals and was developed through Fiola’s own spiritual journey.
“My spiritual life is the lifeboat that gets me through and informs me each day. This narrative invites readers to see their own spirituality a little differently. I hope it will bring a freshness and deepening of faith and a more personal connection or friendship with Christ,” Fiola said.
“Traveler’s Tale – First Book: Discoverings” serves to create accessible spirituality for people of all faiths and to guide readers in achieving direct access to God.
