Cesar D. Bautista, Jr., PhD Joins Masy BioServices as Senior Director of Laboratory Operations

(Jun) Bautista, Jr., PhD has joined the company as Senior Director of Laboratory Operations. In this new role, Dr. Bautista will lead a significant expansion of Masy’s metrology laboratory, expanding the scope of scientific instrument calibration and metrology services offered to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies in North America.

Dr. Bautista joins Masy BioServices from Genzyme, where he served for 10 years in director-level roles in the quality and metrology functions. Previously, he held leadership roles with Primary Instruments, SIMCO Electronics, Transcat, and the United States Air Force. Dr. Bautista holds a Doctorate of Biomedical Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He has also served on numerous committees of the American Society for Quality, United States Pharmacopeia, the National Conference for Standards Laboratories, and the American Society for Standards and Testing.
