CESI Announces Partnership with Visiting Angels Home Care Agency to Address Financial Needs of A Growing, Aging Population
RALEIGH, N.C. (PRWEB) November 23, 2013 -- Consumer Education Services, Inc. (CESI), an A+ Better Business Bureau rated non-profit service provider of comprehensive personal financial education and solutions, today announced its partnership with Visiting Angels, a national, private duty network of non-medical home care agencies serving older adults, persons with disabilities and their families. Through the partnership, Visiting Angels local agencies now have the option to offer their clients CESI’s Assure Money Services (AMS) program. The AMS program was built to assist older adults and/or their caregivers with secure bill payment and day-to-day management of finances.
Through Assure Money Services, participants will speak with a Certified Counselor who will evaluate their financial situation, analyze current benefits and look for additional benefits for which the recipient may qualify and provide other financial counseling as needed. Other benefits and services offered to Visiting Angels clients through AMS include secure monthly bill payment, HUD certified housing counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, education and training materials and budgeting assistance.
The partnership between CESI and Visiting Angels provides care recipients and their loved ones with a unique financial security many aging individuals struggle to secure.
“As the nation’s population ages and the sandwich generation carries a greater burden for their care, we feel as though this partnership with AMS offers our clients and their families with peace of mind that their loved ones’ finances are being professionally managed by a secure, trusted provider,” explained Dave Plank, vice president of business development, Visiting Angels. “AMS ensures that the participant’s money is being properly disbursed and funds collected for a reasonable monthly fee – really, it equates to less than the cost of a tank of gas.”
The AMS program will join the numerous other services currently offered by Visiting Angels. The organization provides non-medical, in-home care for older adults. Visiting Angels customizes the care needed based on the needs and schedule requirements of the client to help maintain independence and a normal routine.
In addition to CESI’s AMS service, the agency also offers care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, hygiene assistance, meal planning/diet monitoring, housekeeping, errands, shopping, companionship, respite care, live-in care and more on a temporary or long-term basis as needed by the client.
Visiting Angels will begin offering CESI’s Assure Money Services program at franchises across the country this fall. Together the two organizations look to assist with the financial well-being of older adults while giving them peace of mind that their finances are safe.
