“Based on the success of our team socks, we’re really excited about launching this new product line. Previously you had to order a minimum quantity of 48 pieces to order a completely custom sock -- with our new custom sock line, this is no longer necessary,” said Ryan Lynn, director of marketing for ChalkTalk Sports.
Customers interested in ordering custom team socks, whether they are a team member, parent or coach, can go on ChalkTalk Sports' website to customize their order (chalktalksports.com). From there they are able to choose the sock pattern, color, lettering and team logo or mascot. Colors and patterns range from an assortment of solid colors to tie-dye and argyle patterns. ChalkTalk Sports also has a long list of team mascot names and logos on file for customers to choose from, but they can email the company with a specific mascot or logo of their own, as well.
While customers are not required to order a minimum quantity of socks, they still benefit from larger orders. There is a special discount for orders of 11 or more, plus a larger discount for customers who order 25 or more pairs of socks. The quantity discounts offer teams and organizations an exciting fundraising opportunity, allowing them to purchase custom team socks at a great price and reselling them for a great profit margin.
“We are hoping to continue to build this line with the team discount pricing already in place. Spring sports will be starting up again in the next six weeks, and we’re expecting a lot of great feedback for this program,” Lynn said.
