"My song Road Trip was actually inspired by a real road trip I took with some friends. I love traveling and getting out of town, and getting out of my own comfort zone. “Road Trip” is the first single of her EP, LOUD HEART set for release later in 2015.
The album features songs she has written about past experiences, including heartbreak, loss, falling in love, learning to be yourself, and following your heart, but while always remembering to have fun. She describes her unique sound as, “a blend of pop, indie, and alternative” as well as incorporating other genres. She lists John Mayer, Katy Perry, and Jason Mraz, and Sara Bareilles as some of her influences.
