From June 14th - 25th, the Foto Promos team, along with B&H, SmugMug, Delkin Devices, Spider Holster, Tether Tools and Kelly Moore Bags, put together The Big Deal, the largest bundle ever offered to the photography community. The Big Deal contained $4,200 of photographic resources (education, software, subscriptions, etc) all for $99, and lasting just 11 days. The Foto Promos team set out to take their passion for photography and give back by making elite photography resources available to the masses, with 20% of the proceeds going directly to charity. In the 11 day lifespan of The Big Deal, Fotopromos.com amazingly saved photographers over $17,500,000. In addition, they collectively raised over $80,000 for two incredible charities, “Team Jessie Let’s Cure Cystic Fibrosis” and “SeedLight”.

The Charities

Team Jessie is aimed at creating awareness and ultimately finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis which is a life-shortening chronic illness affecting the lungs and the digestive system of young children. There has been huge advancements in Cystic Fibrosis over the years, in fact it was not long ago that many were dying before the age of 5. Without the help of donations this progress would not be possible.

SeedLight provides simple, easy-to-use digital cameras to children in disadvantaged communities, providing tuition & encouragement. SeedLight helps children to learn the art of photography and explore their own creativity. SeedLight helps to boost their confidence and self-esteem and enables them to quickly and easily create something long-lasting that they can call their own.
