Atoka, Tenn. (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Charles Avent enjoys being creative. Vampires have always been of interest to him, although oddly enough never in the forefront of his writing until the publication of his latest, “Silent Dawn: Chasing Sunrise”(published by Xlibris).
This book tells the story of Cami, a vurdalak - a vampire - cursed to wander the earth, plagued with an insatiable hunger. She is pursued by the very one who created her and has learned to harden her stilled heart to survive. Nevertheless, when she meets Richard, a man who seems to hold clues to her past, she realizes that she can harden her heart to survive, but must soften it to live.
“This book has been described by one reader as an urban fantasy novel,” says Avent. “It provides an escape into an alternative fantasy universe where vampires are real, but not all vampires are evil.”
“Silent Dawn: Chasing Sunrise” introduces vampires who have a conscience, as well as a sense of vengeance. It will give readers the feeling that they just left a fantasy world where vampires are real but at the same time wondering if it really was, just a fantasy.
