Charles Cavanagh Joins NIP Programs as Vice President of Underwriting Services

With more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Cavanagh has a distinguished track record of success in designing and managing insurance operations. His efforts have enabled both carrier and agency organizations to establish and maintain a marketplace advantage, using service, speed, and accuracy to clearly distinguish these organizations from competitors.
Cavanagh comes to NIP from Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group, where he redesigned agency operations to focus on marketing and service. Among his achievements there, he built a call center customer service function that enabled explosive growth in their personal lines markets. Prior to Crouch Braunsdorf, Cavanagh managed the small commercial lines for the New Jersey Branch of CNA. In that role, Cavanagh’s team delivered 82% growth in gross written premium, while generating a 12% improvement in profitability, though process redesign.
