Charles Morris’ New Book Explains Forms of Holy Spirit

Thomasville, NC (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- After witnessing a general misuse and neglect of the Holy Spirit, pastor and author Charles Morris felt he needed to speak out about the biblical truths involving the person, ministry and work of the Holy Spirit.

Morris’ new book, “The Four Positions of the Holy Spirit: ‘Beside Us’, ‘Within Us’, ‘Upon Us’, and ‘Filling Us’” (published by WestBow Press), explains the third person of the Trinity – the Holy Spirit – and the different ways it works in everyday life.

“The church has always had an acute interest in the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit,” Morris says. “This book will bring clarity to the hard questions and help correct misconceptions about the person of the Holy Spirit and what he does.”

Morris hopes readers will realize the Holy Spirit is God and should be treated and addressed as such. He stresses in his book that the Holy Spirit “is not a force, a power or a toy to be played with,” but rather a distinct manifestation of God that shows readers He is at work in their lives.

“We can know for certain when the Holy Spirit is dealing with a lost person or drawing his heart to God,” Morris says. “We can know for certain that a person is saved by the fruit that is manifest if we know the five evidences of salvation. We can know for certain that we are baptized with the Holy Spirit if we know the evidences from the Word of God. We can know for certain if we are filled with the Holy Spirit or walking in the flesh.”
