Chatham-Kent Senior Officials to Participate in Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate YA’s Expansion in the Region
Chatham, ON (PRWEB) October 10, 2016 -- WHAT: To celebrate iconic marketing promotions company YA’s expansion in Chatham-Kent, Mayor Randy Hope and Geoffrey Wright, Business Development Specialist at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Economic Development Services, will join YA President and CEO Chris Behrens in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mayor Hope will also recognize Oct. 12 as “YA Day” with a presentation of a Certificate of Recognition.
YA (formerly known as Young America) has housed its call center operations in Chatham-Kent for 14 years. With an intensified focus on the Canadian market, YA is tripling the size of its office space in Chatham-Kent and plans on nearly doubling its employee base in Canada. YA currently employs nearly 85 people in Chatham-Kent. The workforce growth focuses on the addition of contact center agents and supervisors in support of inbound and outbound customer support. Company executives also plan on hiring additional sales and marketing talent who will be based in the Toronto area.
