The former Pink Floyd frontman will now be performing 8 intimate dates in March and April of 2016. This tour is in support of his exciting new album "Rattle That Lock" which will be released in mid-September 2015. Word of this tour traveled quickly since David Gilmour has not toured in North America for a decade.
Gilmour's last album "On An Island" which was released in 2006 was highly successful as it topped the charts in the UK and in the States it ended up at a strong #6. This album had the distinction of being released on Gilmour's 60th birthday and it was his first solo album in 22 years since his "About Face" in 1984. Gilmour’s devoted fans have already marked their calendars for his 2016 headlining tour. In addition to his newly announced North American dates in 2016, Gilmour will also be touring in September and October of this year. He will be making the following stops: Pula Arena in Pula Croatia, Arena Di Verona in Verona, Teatro Le Mulina in Firenze, Florence, Theatre Antique d'Orange in Orange, Vaucluse and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
