Chesapeake Marine Training Institute Presents New Blogging Series
Gloucester, Va. (PRWEB) October 11, 2014 -- Chesapeake Marine Training Institute (CMTI) is pleased to announce it has launched a new blogging series aimed at helping promote recreational mariner safety.
CMTI has trained thousands of professional mariners, helping them remain safe at sea by ensuring they are properly trained and prepared to deal with incidents if they happen while underway.
While not as many recreational mariners come through the CMTI courses, even though they are welcomed and encouraged, the same level of safety and preparedness is needed.
Enter the recent blogging series.
The CMTI recreational safety blog topics range from how to tackle severe weather on the water to boating safety for kids.
“There’s no doubt about it. Enjoying a day out on the water is fun for the whole family—adults and kiddos alike. But with great fun comes great responsibility,” CMTI wrote.
CMTI encourages all boaters to always check first aid kits, spare parts and other supplies to ensure that there are adequate volumes to maintain the safety of the boat.
“Even on quick trips through calm water, you can never be too prepared when it comes to boating safety,” CMTI wrote.
