Chicago Wellness Centers Welcomes New Lead Chiropractic Doctor to Staff
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- Aligned Modern Health, a Chicago area wellness company with four local neighborhood health centers, officially welcomes Dr. Staci Aherns, DC as lead doctor for Chiropractic Care based in Aligned Modern Health’s Lincoln Square facility.
Dr. Ahrens received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a BS with High Honors in Biology and Health Sciences from Purdue University.
Prior to joining Aligned Modern Health, Dr. Ahrens spent ten years at Turner Rehab in Naperville where she worked with athletes in almost every sport, both youth and adults. She has helped competitors at all levels avoid injuries and maximize the athlete’s performance, including weekend warriors, Ironman triathletes, and collegiate and professional athletes. She is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, and Kinesio taping.
Dr. Ahrens is also dedicated to women’s health issues, and she works with many expectant and new mothers. She is certified in Webster Technique, a specialized protocol for easing the birthing process. Dr. Ahrens is a marathon runner and an avid fitness enthusiast. She enjoys yoga, recreational cycling, climbing, and spending every possible moment outdoors. She is also passionate about her volunteer work, which she has done throughout Chicago and around the world. Whatever your injury, Dr. Ahrens will use her expertise to get you back in action and teach you techniques you can build into your own workouts to keep you in action.

Dr. Ahrens is currently accepting new patients. She offers a free 15 minute consultation for Chiropractic or with the clinic’s Acupuncturists or Nutritionists.
