We feel strongly about giving back and supporting organizations like Grangou – especially during the holiday season. To know we helped fund a home where children feel safety, comfort and love would be the greatest holiday gift of all.

Public relations and retail strategy firm ChicExecs is giving back this holiday season with a new campaign to support Grangou, a Southern California-based nonprofit that helps Haitian children in need. Starting Nov. 1, the agency will donate 10 percent of divisional proceeds to help Grangou fund a permanent home for abandoned children in Haiti.

Grangou was founded in July of 2008 to raise awareness about the extreme difficulties of life in Haiti, and to help feed the hearts, minds and bodies of Haitians. Today, it operates Travay Bondye, a rental property that provides safety, shelter, meals and clean water to nearly 70 abandoned and at-risk children in Haiti.

As longtime supporters of Grangou, ChicExecs is dedicated to help fund the Travay Bondye project this holiday season and provide a permanent, safe shelter for Haitian children in need. To do so, ChicExecs will donate 10 percent of divisional proceeds starting in November to Grangou. The agency will continue to donate until Grangou has raised enough funds to purchase Travay Bondye.

Located in Port au Prince, Haiti, the Travay Bondye property includes six small houses, each with its own bathroom and shower. It also features a large yard, a basketball court, and a covered, multipurpose room for family-style meals and group meetings. According to Grangou, Travay Bondye is not only a property, but more importantly, a refuge where children can recover from the fear, pain and isolation caused by abandonment.

“We feel strongly about giving back and supporting organizations like Grangou – especially during the holiday season,” said the co-founders of ChicExecs, Kailynn Bowling and Nikki Carlson. “To know we helped fund a home where children feel safety, comfort and love would be the greatest holiday gift of all.”

ChicExecs is proud to provide pro bono services to other select nonprofit organizations. About Grangou
Grangou began its story in 2007 when co-founders Mike and Carrie Gibson took their first trip to Haiti and witnessed the countless abandoned children on the streets of busy Port au Prince. They officially began Grangou in July 2008 to raise awareness about the extreme difficulties of life in Haiti and feed the hearts, minds and bodies of Haitians in need. Today, Grangou operates the Travay Bondye Home for abandoned and at-risk children, runs a teens-in-transition (TNT) program, participates in community and street outreach, and offers mission trips.
