Chick-fil-A and CBU Online Collaborate to Offer Tuition Discounts and Other Educational Benefits for Chick-fil-A Team Members
ATLANTA, Ga. (PRWEB) September 22, 2016 -- Today California Baptist University Division of Online and Professional Studies (CBU Online) announces that it has teamed up with Chick-fil-A,, Inc. to provide discounted tuition and other educational benefits to all Chick-fil-A Team Members to help offset the cost of their education. The collaboration is part of Chick-fil-A’s educational assistance initiative, called Remarkable Futures, announced by the restaurant company today. In addition to offering access to tuition discounts and other benefits at CBU Online, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will more than double its investment in Team Members’ college educations in 2017 alone. As part of this initiative, CBU Online will also provide a waiver for application fees, dedicated enrollment counselors, One-stop student service advisors and 24/7 Smarthinking tutoring services to Chick-fil-A Team Members who are registered as students, effective immediately.
While Chick-fil-A, Inc. has offered scholarships for more than 40 years, this enhanced educational assistance initiative increases the amount of funding per recipient, allowing Team Members to receive up to $25,000 in scholarships from Chick-fil-A, Inc.* , and can be combined with tuition discounts and other educational benefits at participating institutions, including the scholarship discount opportunity at CBU Online. There is no length-of-service requirement associated with eligibility.

To be eligible for these opportunities, applicants must be employed as a Chick-fil-A Team Member by a Chick-fil-A Franchisee, a Chick-fil-A, Inc.-operated restaurant, or an STC brand restaurant.**
Chick-fil-A, Inc. began awarding scholarships to Team Members in 1973 based on founder S. Truett Cathy’s desire to incentivize Team Members to further their education. Since then, nearly 36,000 Team Members have received scholarships from Chick-fil-A, Inc., bringing the total amount to nearly $36 million applied at more than 3,000 schools nationwide.
- Eligible Team Members can earn up to a lifetime maximum of $25,000 in scholarships from Chick-fil-A, Inc.
