Chicken Recipes Chewbacca Can Run With - Final Installment of Chewbacca Videos Released
Brooklyn, New York (PRWEB) July 27, 2013 -- From Scary Movie to Shaun of the Dead, parody films are mega-hot in Hollywood. Now, Parody Film Productions is proud to announce its final installment in a four-part film series on Star Wars.
Eat your heart out, Chewbacca fans.
A new web series if filling the void for many people’s Comic-Con withdrawals. In honor of the 43rd annual Comic-Con, the hot new Bad Wookiee web series continues down a twisted comedic path. In this final short-film episode from Parody Film Productions, Chewbacca makes plans to head to Comic Con 2013 with a treasure trove of chicken recipes only to run into his nemesis, said creator Stephen Gill.
However, the biggest challenge for Chewbacca isn’t bidding farewell to 130,000 fans at the 43rd annual event. It’s taking on his toughest opponent: a giant chicken. Whether he’ll use a light saber to do it remains to be seen.
In “Episode IV : Chicken,” the fourth Web film from Parody Film Productions pits Chewbacca in a foot-race against a giant mascot-sized chicken. The series of Star Wars parodies, inspired by the hundreds that have come before it, takes a turn down a different comedic path and gives fans a glimpse behind the curtain of Chewbacca’s modern-day Brooklyn, N.Y. existence.
The highly anticipated project is a collaboration between creator/director Stephen Gill, co-writer Russell Sinclair and more than a dozen professional creatives, a team who worked many hours to hone the four short film parodies over the course of several months.
“With professionals who are all Star Wars fans, the production and post-production was a labor of love by a lot of really talented people who just out-and-out love Star Wars and wanted to be a part of something fun and different,” says Gill.
The four-part series can be seen as a collection on YouTube and a host of other sites.
