Chimani Launches Baxter State Park Mobile App

The Chimani Baxter State Park app allows visitors to better plan for their trips, navigate within the park, discover to new experiences, and socialize with friends.
The app features over 270 points of interest throughout the park, a GPS-enabled high-resolution hiking map, an augmented reality viewer to learn more about the surrounding environment, 73 hiking trail descriptions, over 85 photographs, sunrise/sunsets data for over a year, and details on camping, parking, picnicking, and swimming.
Users can use the app to plan hikes, review key safety information, and access a complete list of facilities including locations of all the campgrounds and picnic areas in the park.
Like the various national park apps that Chimani has already developed, the Baxter app boasts a rich and impressive map that is custom-made, GPS-enabled, includes every hiking trail in the park, and displays interactive points of interest. Unlike most apps, the map works without the need for a cell or data connection and is specifically designed for the mobile app platform.
