Chinese central government has announced the China School Soccer Master Plan in 2015. The target is to set up 20,000 soccer schools with 20 million students’ involvement by 2017, have 100,000 soccer schools by 2025 and achieve the world cup competition. It is the first time China has introduced a soccer textbook to the K-12 school system as a mandatory course.
Ministry of Education, China (“MOE”) has started the K-12 school soccer teachers training program for the China School Soccer Master Plan since 2015. MOE also requires completing the four levels soccer competition system, which starts from grade 3 students for primary school, junior high school, senior high school and college.
