Chinese Government Bans “The Jerry Doyle Show’s” Digital Platform, EpicTimes.com
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 -- Jerry Doyle, host of the fourth largest syndicated talk show in America, “The Jerry Doyle Show”, has learned that the Communist Chinese government is censoring access to the show’s digital distribution platform, EpicTimes.com. Sources close to Dr. Richard Ebeling, an EpicTimes contributor, confirmed that they cannot access EpicTimes.com from computers or smartphones within China.
Doyle, in response to the news had this to say: "Apparently the message of free markets, free speech, empowered citizens and community-based solutions that EpicTimes provides is a no-go for the estimated 1.35 billion Chinese people. Too many people live under the thumb of a totalitarian government that shapes and controls what otherwise free people get to think, know, believe and put into action. You would think that with the Chinese government holding $1.2 trillion dollars of our currency reserves, they might want to check in to see what we’re up to. Instead, EpicTimes is being treated like a 'Thought Criminal.'"
Doyle describes EpicTimes.com as a community website dedicated to putting cutting edge news, resources, and solution-based content in the hands of the public. In describing the philosophy of the site, Doyle says it’s for the most part a fiscally conservative, socially moderate, small “L” Libertarian, solution-based community catering to the “New American Center”, driven by a powerful data platform from Tracky, an industry leader in social collaboration and digital publishing tools.
Doyle envisions EpicTimes.com to be the public’s ultimate media destination for resources, news, information and tools designed specifically with their needs in mind. He explains, “EpicTimes.com seeks to deliver insight from some of the most influential voices of our time, spanning a variety of expertise to share solution based ideas and insights with a community that is focused on problem-solving and results.”
