Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the U.S. Choices Women’s Medical Center and Advanced Cardio will offer life saving and non-invasive tests that screen for medical conditions causing heart attacks, strokes and undetected aneurysms. Heart disease is 72% higher in African American women than in white women. Since 1984, more women than men have died annually and the gap between men/women survival continues to widen. Heart Disease causes death in one third of all women, is six times more lethal than breast cancer and almost two thirds of women who die from heart disease do not have any history or experience symptoms of chest pain.

Heart of the Matter Testing Day makes it easy to access life saving tests. All major insurances, Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted. Reasonable self-pay rates are available, however no one, regardless of their financial situation will be turned away.
