Bringing in the New Year With a New Name
After serving the Detroit area with outstanding classical Christian education for the past 20 years, Christian Leadership Academy has announced that effective January 1, 2015, their name will become Bloomfield Christian School (BCS). They recently celebrated their 20th year with a move to a new facility in Bloomfield Township that better accomodates their continued growth. The K-12 classical Christian school moved from Troy to Bloomfield Township in 2013 and the change in name reflects the school’s permanence in its new, expanded facility located at 3570 Telegraph Road.

The Mission. The Vision.
Though the name has changed, the mission of Bloomfield Christian School remains the same. Bloomfield Christian School’s mission is to teach children Biblical truths and classical academics from a Christian worldview so they may serve as bold and obedient ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
Bloomfield Christian School is a K-12 interdenominational classical Christian school, founded in 1994. The vision of the school’s founders was to offer a “back to basics” approach of educating children that builds a solid foundation on which future learning readily flourishes. That vision continues at Bloomfield Christian School in 2015.
