Christina Milian Reveals Why New Album Will Appeal to Both Men and Women on AfterBuzz TV
(PRWEB) February 06, 2015 -- Christina Milian, singer/actress turned reality star thanks to her new E! show Christina Milian Turned Up, stopped by E! host Maria Menounos’ online broadcast network AfterBuzz TV to discuss her upcoming album. Milian says, “Honestly, it’s an album that I feel men and women alike will listen to and relate to it.”
She elaborates on the album which was produced alongside The Silent Killers, “I made this music with men and I'm dealing with a lot of men and I'm around Wayne and Mac a lot, hearing what they're doing. It's really about a confident woman. You're in the club, singing these songs... and then you kind of realize, it's cool for the guys to be doing it, but the girls, we start to look not very feminine. The lyrics, if you pay attention to what you're saying, it's just not that sexy... It made me think: let's do this from a female's point of view. The guys can still sing it, still rock with it. I don't want this to feel uncool, I want them to actually bond through this music.”
When asked about her daughter Violet, who frequently attends red carpets with Milian and has been known to strike a pose of her own, Milian jokes, “She can steal my sunshine any day.”
Milian's show, Christina Milian Turned Up airs on E! Sunday nights at 10/9 central.
