Christmas at the Galt House Hotel Broke the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gathering of Fairies
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 19, 2016 -- Christmas at the Galt House Hotel broke the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gathering of Fairies on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:36 a.m. with 936 fairies.
Members of the community and local Girl Scout troops came out to the Galt House Hotel’s Grand Ballroom to break the world record. The previous record for the largest gathering of fairies was 871 held by St Giles Hospice (UK) in Lichfield, Staffordshire, UK, on June 22, 2013.
“I had so much fun being a part of the Christmas at the Galt House Hotel’s record setting largest gathering of fairies,” said Brad Good, CPA. “It was a privilege for me to serve as an official witness. Christmas at the Galt House Hotel and this event is truly a memorable experience.”
In order to break the record, fairies had to be dressed in a tutu, with a wand and wings. If participants did not have a full costume, the Christmas at the Galt House Hotel’s Snow Fairy Princess lent items from her personal collection.
Christmas at the Galt House Hotel opened November 17 and runs through December 24, 2016. A portion of proceeds from the event benefits Home of the Innocence. Tickets details are available at ChristmasAtTheGaltHouse.com.
