Cigar Advisor Publishes Five Tips For Tailgating Success

Christopher Columbus is widely credited for ‘discovering’ tobacco on his late 15th Century voyages to the New World, but our tailgating rituals are descended from the harvest festivals of ancient Rome and Greece.” So, by his reasoning, he notes that a good pre-game party is in our DNA.
Hurt cites a two-year long study by Notre Dame cultural anthropology professor John Sherry, who compares tailgating to “picnics organized to watch Civil War battles and to modern day rock concert campouts as a way for civilians to participate vicariously in the team experience and to bond with each other.”
In this guide, Harry discusses designating a driver and arriving early, choosing the right cigars, portable entertainment and grill gear, as well as menu and drink planning strategies – which are based on the home team’s opponent.
