Cigar Advisor Publishes Lifestyle Piece on First-Time Gun Buying

Korb, who supports the rights of gun owners, begins his article with the following observation: "Since I moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania almost 10 years ago, I noticed that folks out here are gun crazy—not necessarily Ted Nugent gun crazy—they just love their guns. Almost everyone I've met either owns a gun, has a collection of guns, or carries one."
Despite criticism in the media about gun shows not doing background checks, Korb points out that at this particular show his friend was subjected to a background check and had to fill out "more forms than it takes to close a mortgage."
The article also touches on Connor's research. When he asks one gun owner about what kind of firearm he should buy, the man replies with the most important question of all: "What do you want use the gun for: hunting, protection, or sport?" At the show, Connor eventually makes his decision only to discover that ammo, especially right now, is virtually impossible to find. However, he's also cognizant that getting the proper training for using a firearm is of the utmost importance.
