Merillville, Indiana (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- On August 15th, the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) announced that the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) 3.0 would be released in early November and ultimately become effective on January 1st of 2014.
Based on early information, the new standard will focus on making PCI-DSS compliance a continuous process rather than a one-time “check box marking” exercise.
