Glen Ellyn, IL (PRWEB) December 02, 2016 -- Cindy Schroeder, owner of Bright Bookkeeping and an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, has been named by CPA Practice Advisor as one of the 2016 Most Powerful Women in Accounting. This prestigious honor is awarded each year to a select group of women leading the way in the accounting profession.
Presented this year at the QBConnect Conference in San Jose, California, the award was established by CPA Practice Advisor to recognize and celebrate the increasing presence of women at the highest positions in accounting firms and organizations that oversee the accounting profession. Nominations were open to the public and the final selection of this year’s recipients was determined by the publication’s editorial staff and advisory board.
"These leaders are setting new standards for professionalism within accounting and are shaping the profession through their work as partners, mentors, innovators and thought leaders," said Gail Perry, Editor-in-Chief of CPA Practice Advisor.
Following receipt of the 2016 Most Powerful Women in Accounting award, Schroeder commented, “After celebrating nine years of having my bookkeeping practice, and five years of the Bookkeeping Buds, it is a thrill to be recognized with many of the women that have encouraged and inspired me to get this far. I look forward to the upcoming years and continuing to help our clients with all their bookkeeping needs.”
