Cirrus Tech, Inc. Signs Two Key Beverage Industry Distributors with “The Crane” ASRS System
Kearney, NE (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- Cirrus Tech, Inc., co-located in Kearney, NE and the Raleigh, NC area, a hardware integrator of the innovative “Crane” ASRS System and software provider of Warehouse Control/Warehouse Management Systems, announces the signing of two beverage distributors for “The Crane” ASRS System. J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, Inc. in Ft. Meyers, FL and Eagle Distributing in Fremont, NE have chosen Cirrus Tech to implement “The Crane” system and Cirrus Tech’s voice picking system for their warehouse operations. J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida is a beverage distributor of high quality products such as MillerCoors, Pabst, Yuengling, and an array of quality imported beers. Eagle Distributing in Fremont, NE distributes Anheuser-Busch products and many other high quality beers and nonalcoholic products. Eagle Distributing will also be implementing Cirrus Tech’s Warehouse Management System.
“By choosing The Crane ASRS System from Cirrus Tech, we are looking to gain efficiencies throughout our entire warehouse. The "Crane" will significantly improve efficiencies in how we receive, rotate and shuffle back stock, cycle count, and replenish pick locations. The real surprise will be the efficiencies we will gain on the load building side. We anticipate being able to average over 300 cases an hour per load builder by adding layer picking and Cirrus' Voice Pick solution. By making the changes in our systems and processes we will reduce operational costs and improve productivity. Taylor Distributing Florida will be implementing this new innovative Crane System during the summer of 2016.
Eagle Distributing in Fremont, NE will be implementing the new Crane System the first quarter of 2016. Bruce Nelsen, owner of Eagle Distributing, said “The Crane ASRS System by Cirrus Tech provided our company an opportunity to consolidate an entire warehouse (Norfolk, NE) into the existing warehouse here in Fremont, NE. It will incorporate 5 years of sales growth while providing a 5 year ROI with the efficiencies of the system.”
