City of Schertz Announces Their Festival of Angels
Schertz, TX (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- The City of Schertz, named one of the best places to live on CNN Money, is proud to announce their 18th annual Festival of Angels will take place Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7.
This family-friendly event will feature a lighted night parade – all entries must have lights – with floats, marchers and music. The event is free and open to the public. There is no better way for families to celebrate the holidays in the community than the Festival.
The parade, featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, kicks off at Pickrell Park and ends at the Hal Baldwin Municipal Complex. After the parade, kids can get a complimentary photo with Santa with a toy donation for the Blue Santa Program or a $5 cash donation. During the festival, families can enjoy tasty treats, music from local school bands and choirs and there will be SNOW on “Mt. Schertz” where kids can sled.

Join the Main St. Association for holiday shopping at the Kris Kringle Market, Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m; 816 Main St, Schertz. Live entertainment, food and craft vendors will be on hand.
