Claremont-based Synedgen Launches Synedent®
Claremont, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Local company Synedgen hopes to improve oral health with the launch of Synedent®, a new oral rinse that freshens breath and helps to clean teeth and gums, without the burn or irritation of commonly used oral rinses.
Prisyna, the business unit of Synedgen that distributes its personal care and cosmetic products, is launching its first significant production of 5,000 bottles of Synedent in the Claremont area and online. Synedent is available online directly at http://www.synedent.com, and on the shelves at Wolfe's Market, a specialty grocery store in Claremont. Synedgen is also working with dental offices and distributors to provide broader distribution in the coming months.
Synedgen’s founders have a long history in the Claremont community. William P. Wiesmann, M.D. is a Trustee Emeritus at Harvey Mudd College and has worked as a liaison with faculty and students on a variety of Clinic Projects over the past two decades. Shenda Baker, PhD has been a Professor of Chemistry at Harvey Mudd College since 1991. Wiesmann and Baker founded Synedgen Inc. to use natural polymers, polysaccharides, as the basis of new approaches to create innovative, sustainable and environmentally compatible health care products. The company is using PakLab, a local contract manufacturer in nearby Chino, to bottle and label the Synedent for local and national distribution.
