Claremont Martial Arts Institute Celebrates New Space With Grand Opening Event On September 12th
Claremont, NH (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- The National Institute of Modern Martial Arts (N.I.M.M.A.) dojo has moved into new and more expansive facilities located at 140 North Street, Claremont, NH. Originally founded in 1989 by seven martial art masters, the dojo now offers courses and training in a variety of styles including Karate, Kobudo, Kodokan Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Sokken Go Kai Do ryu.
Brendan Donahue, a long time member of the dojo, noted that “Our commitment to better serve area communities with outstanding Martial Arts education was the primary motivation for moving. The addition of a yoga studio and daycare will also make the new space more enjoyable for the whole family.”
A grand opening event will be held on 9/12/15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. complete with food, a ribbon cutting ceremony, building tours, a visit from Spiderman, dunking booths and mini classes including self defense, anti-bullying, traditional weapons, In Yo no Seishin (non contact karate) and a mini karate class. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the gathering—current members of the dojo, future members, those interested in the martial arts, and anyone aged 4-100 years old in the community looking for a fun and unique way to spend a fall day.
Among other activities taking place during the celebration, attendees will have the chance to be entered in a raffle for prizes including T-shirts, gift cards and free instruction passes. It is surely a date to mark in your calendar.
