Classic Lifeguard Awarded NAAMTA Medical Transport Accreditation
American Fork, UT (PRWEB) December 15, 2014 -- Subsequent to a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices, and facilities, NAAMTA is awarding Classic Lifeguard with its second term medical transport accreditation for their fixed- and rotor-wing program. As a result, Classic Lifeguard is being award NAAMTA Accreditation and we are proud to have them continue in their role within the NAAMTA Alliance, and thus are privy to the benefits associated.

After a medical transport organization attains accreditation through NAAMTA, they must demonstrate ongoing compliance in the form of yearly reports. These reports give evidence of the organization’s continued efforts at complying with NAAMTA Standards and improving medical transport practices internally and externally.

Classic Lifeguard (http://www.classicairmedical.com) was created in response to the need for air medical evacuation services, from scene calls, search and rescue, as well as inter-facilities from one hospital to another. Classic Lifeguard dedicates helicopters and specialized flight crews to hospitals upon request. Classic Lifeguard officially began in 1988 with one helicopter, a pilot, and a medical crew of two basic-level Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT).
