Classic Party Rentals Helped Build A 'City of Rock' For Inaugural Rock In Rio USA To Host Taylor Swift, No Doubt And More

Over the course of a month, the Classic Party Rentals team constructed 48 tents to host 172,000 rock fans for two consecutive weekends of performances from top musical acts including Taylor Swift, No Doubt, Bruno Mars, Metallica and many more.

Experts in the music concert and festival market, Classic Party Rentals provided a range of unique tenting styles and structures to accommodate rock fans, but a 30m two-story Polyhall tent for the VIPs took center stage at the show. The high ceiling structure with rounded ends was brought in from Europe and is rarely seen in the United States. Other styles used in the “City of Rock” ranged from 10m to 20m wide aluminum halls to festival style tents. Classic Party Rentals also introduced another new product, Housemix structures, in both 20’ x 33’ and 16’ x 20’ sizes. A perfect fit for the concerts, their unique low-pitched roofline allowed for great site lines from no matter where you were standing.
