The 25th annual HEMPFEST® — often described as “protestival” for its infusion of entertainment and political advocacy — is one of the most important Cannabis cultural and entertainment events of the year. It brings together a diverse lineup of world class entertainers, cannabis enthusiasts, and advocates.
HEMPFEST® organizers expect over 100,000 participants to attend the the three-day, waterfront advocacy and entertainment event and rally. Popular recreational dispensary in Tacoma, Clear Choice Cannabis, is pleased to support the event and present world renowned entertainers, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Chief Greenbud. This year’s theme continues calling on the government to “tear down its legal barriers to scientific study of the cannabis plant.” Hempfest organizers cite the numerous ways humanity is harmed by the lost potential that medical marijuana and industrial hemp could offer through legal research and development.

HEMPFEST®Protestival, located at Myrtle Edwards & Centennial Parks, in Seattle, will feature six stages of music represent a diverse group of acts, 400 arts and crafts exhibits, a rich variety of local and ethnic foods, and advocacy vendors who will provide information on a broad variety of persistent legal and legislative issues impeding research and safe-access to cannabis.
