Clear Fork Royalty Wins 2nd Award for Ethics
Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) January 28, 2016 -- Clear Fork Royalty received the Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence from the Fort Worth/Tarrant County Better Business Bureau on Friday, January 15, at the Clear Fork Royalty offices.
The prestigious recognition marks the second major ethics award that Clear Fork has received in the past two years, with the other being the Greater Tarrant Business Ethics Award from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and TCU.
Clear Fork is an oil and gas mineral rights and royalty acquisition company that handles acquisitions of interests from hundreds to millions of dollars throughout the United States.
“It means a lot to us to be honored once again for ethical business conduct,” said Joseph DeWoody, President of Clear Fork Royalty. “When we received the first award, oil was priced in the $85-$95 per barrel range, while right now we are dealing with prices in the $30’s. Whether business is booming or contracting, we still operate consistently with the same core values and business principles.”
Judges evaluated the nominees based upon how well they generated a high level of trust among their employees, customers and their communities; how much they excelled at ethical business practices; the quality of their involvement in their communities; and how well they demonstrated extraordinarily high levels of customer service.
“You have substantially validated what the BBB is about, and that is trust, says Tom Eastman, Chairman of the Board of the Fort Worth/Tarrant County BBB. “There are people who push the envelope of trust, and that’s what the Torch Award is for. I am honored to present you this Torch Award for what you’ve done and what you’ll continue to do.”
“We share the same values of the BBB in how we operate,” adds DeWoody. “We operate in a spirit of transparency to ensure our royalty sellers and our investors can feel total confidence in how we conduct business. Doing the right thing should never be conditional. With us, it’s cultural.”
The Torch Awards Gala will be held on Saturday, February 20, at the Fort Worth Zoo. Six honorees – Clear Fork Royalty from Tarrant County and five more from nearby counties, will receive their awards. Three of those will also receive special awards for Community Involvement, Exceptional Ethics, and Customer Service.
