Nashville, Tenn (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- Clearwater Compliance today announced the addition of several new service delivery and customer support executives to bolster the value and insight it provides to organizations seeking to become and remain HIPAA-HITECH compliant.
As the Office for Civil Rights steps up enforcement of the HIPAA Omnibus Final Rule, more organizations are seeking additional help tackling their compliance programs. With these new resources, Clearwater strengthens its ability to respond to the growing demand for help with HIPAA compliance while maintaining its commitment to superior customer service.
Clearwater’s personnel updates include Wes Morris, HIPAA Privacy Consultant; Mike Neal, HIPAA Security Consultant; Craig Neal, Customer Service Account Manager; and Dan Pruyn, VP of Business Development.
Morris began focusing on HIPAA Privacy matters more than 10 years ago after an exemplary career in the U.S. Air Force, where he honed his skills safeguarding the privacy and security of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Patient Records. Since joining the HIPAA world, he has held positions ranging from a hospital Privacy Officer to leading a team of health information compliance specialists overseeing 74 Air Force hospitals.
Before joining Clearwater Compliance, he was the Privacy Officer and Security Subject Matter Expert on the Veterans Affairs Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record project, ensuring all aspects of HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance were fully implemented across a broad development team.
Mike Neal has more than 15 years of information technology and security experience in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, education, government, and manufacturing. Before joining Clearwater Compliance, Neal worked as a Services Architect and Assessment Practice Lead working with customers to determine technology needs and complete implementation of solutions.
Prior to that, Neal worked as a Healthcare Solutions Practice Lead performing HIPAA Risk Analysis, Meaningful Use Risk Analysis, Security Assessments, Compliance Assessments / Consulting, and Managed Services. He previously served in different roles within information technology including: pre-sales, project management, and consulting in information security, compliance, disaster recovery and solutions implementation.
Craig Neal has over 10 years experience in account management and customer relations, with particular emphasis to customer service. Prior to joining Clearwater Compliance, he acted as the Senior Account Manager at National Marine Suppliers, the largest yacht supply company in the world. Dealing with multi-million dollar contracts for the yachts of high profile clients, Neal was responsible for acting as the direct liaison with the customer, ensuring privacy and security of information at all times.
Pruyn has over 12 years of consultative business solutions and development experience. Prior to joining Clearwater Compliance, Pruyn was part of and led award-winning, internationally recognized teams. An acclaimed leader at The Wall Street Journal, and most recently global digital marketing and commerce firm, eMarketer, he consistently received accolades and industry commendations for his partner-centric approach to forging strategic business relationships. Dan will be focused on developing and executing strategies to grow the business during this time of escalating need for Clearwater’s services and solutions.
