Cleveland's University School Posts Best Results Ever at 2014 Regional Scholastic Art Competition
Hunting Valley, Ohio (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- Cleveland's University School had its best year ever at the 2014 Regional Scholastic Art Awards Competition, with 43 students receiving 58 awards at the annual event. The school came in second in the region in total awards. This marks the third consecutive year that US has achieved such a strong representation at the competition.
University School students won 10 gold keys, 20 silver keys, and 28 honorable mentions. Gold key winners will move on to the next level to compete for the national awards in New York City in June.
Commenting on the students' achievements, Reinhold Friebertshauser, Chairman of the Upper School Art Department, said, "We are so proud of our students who continue to win awards in the visual arts. We are also delighted that the fine work of so many of our teachers is represented by these awards."
