CliniSanitas - Addressing The Needs of a Growing Diverse City

Hillsborough Ave. in the Greenhouse Shops. CliniSanitas is an extended partnership between Organización Sanitas Internacional and GuideWell, recognized for bringing innovative health solutions to North and South America. CliniSanitas is dedicated to improving the Hispanic community’s access to convenient, affordable and culturally-relevant healthcare.
The Office of Minority Health states, “Hispanic health is often shaped by factors such as language/cultural barriers, lack of access to preventative care, and the lack of health insurance.” CliniSanitas addresses the needs of a growing diverse city and is tailored to meet those needs and preferences of the Hispanic community. Bilingual doctors and staff better serve the growing Hispanic population in Hillsborough County with culturally-relevant health care. CliniSanitas will provide a multitude of services, such as primary, specialty and urgent care, as well as diagnostics and imaging to bring about a healthier community.
In association with Danis and RS&H Architects, Palmetto Construction Services completed the 11,000 sf of high end medical interior finishes in just 3 months, consisting of X-ray labs, recovery rooms, and full medical exam rooms. “We were pleased to deliver such a beautiful and functional facility for CliniSanitas, including the final AHCA inspection, in a timeframe that benefited their staff and the community,” exclaimed J. Ted Walker, Palmetto Principal. “Sometimes it’s hard to envision such beautiful results when you’re welding steel in an old vacant building, but there is nothing more satisfying to our crews to be able to deliver such a transformation.”
